    my husband wants this but didnt get al the ingredients i have the knoor in the cubes so i think i and a half since you only put 1 and a half of chicken broth i dont have broth but i can use water and chicken bullion

    Thanks for reminding me about calabacita while we've got this week of extreme cold in San Antonio. I've made calabacita con pollo many times but have never heard of using celery. Interesting. Just an added suggestion, I use chicken breasts AND boneless pork chops (thin cut), but I cut them cup into bite-sized pieces and sautΓ© them in a pan in olive oil with salt and pepper and cumin before cooking all the veggies. Then after the veggies are done, I add the chicken and pork back in and let it simmer for 15-30 minutes (depending on how much time I have). It makes it a little easier than picking the chicken off the bone and is easier for children to eat. Thanks again!

    Thank you! It was a perfect β€˜sopita’ for my 16 month old and the rest of the family. I didn’t include the celery nor the red peppers and it was still delicious. I have used the recipe with alphabet pasta and my little girl loved it. Thank you!!! I had to subscribe and trying the hamburger helper next. πŸ‘πŸ»
