Hey AB, I love that you use cast iron! My grandmother was a cook for boarding houses and logging camps and I have a couple of her pieces. (Finnish cooking). Nothing like a cast iron that has been smooth from years of daily function. My children each have a piece of her now. Cast iron is premium, but I also have pre-WW2 RevereWare. Stainless steel is an art, which I would love to see you teach skill with.
My mom loved southern food so that is what I learned. But there are so many cuisines and I love that you are with that! I love the way you make it real. Right?! We are all capable of beautiful dishes. Please make some gumbo, or link if I have missed it! Many blessings and much love!

This is a great basis for a number of dishes – I used it for kielbasa – turned out great. I can see this for shrimp (as AB does), but also crawfish, chicken etc…

You and that garlic press make me laugh lol. Every time I see it in the video before you start cooking, I’m like I already know what time it is

All that talking, you could have shared what seasonings to add? All I heard was salt, pepper? I didn’t hear/see what the supplements were? I can’t re-watch all that talking to try to catch it? Someone recommended this video to me to cook for them, I’m frustrated
