The thumbnail was extremely misleading. I’m a long term huge fan of gmm and mythical kitchen, I’ve seen them on tour and buy tons of merch. My kids even tell google to play “good mythical morning”
I NEVER comment. But they way I was SO EXCITED thinking Rhett and Link was gonna finally be a part of this channel:.. false advertisement and the first time I’ve been hella disappointed in this channel… it’s officially given me the ick.

For the smash burger, only psychopaths season the ball. You season the ground beef prior to cooking and add additional seasoning after its been smashed. I'll die on this hill while falling on my sword.

cereal soaking for a minute is cereal soaking for a minute. i believe the argument is for when youre actively eating the cereal that cereal last would stay crunchy longer because you have less cereal and it's all on top so that you can add the milk when you want. but i pour milk last. so

The only benefit to using a ball instead of a patty is apparent when making burgers in volume. First, it has the smallest surface area, so it would dry out the slowest while in storage, and it also has minimal contact with other portioned out balls, so it's easy to pull apart from a tray full of them. Most often I'd prep them as pucks, since I don't make much, and that way they still don't take up too much space on my tray.

Here's some advice: if you don't wanna overnight soak your beans, just cook them in a pressure cooker (just follow the instructions for dried beans and you should be fine).

The whole point of milk first, is that you don't dump all the cereal in at once. You add in a little bit of cereal at a time, so that they are always crunchy. If you just dump it one big mess, of course there's no difference.

A reason to soak beans that none of these tests ever talk about is to prevent an upset stomach. If you don't soak them, there's a chance they aren't fully expanded and will finish expanding in your stomach.
