Lovely episode! Seeing your ohana at brunch and enjoying a meal is always a highlight of your vlogs.
Loco Moco is a nostalgic fave and continues to be something I enjoy while in Hawaii…I know it's not the healthiest food, but it certainly is satisfying and brings me back to childhood.✨🌺✨
I see four generations enjoying a home cooked meal at the dinner table and that in itself is awesome! great video!
Family quality time 👍 food looks so good!
Cari love seeing you and your mom doing this together,I’ve gone to 💯 cafe in Hilo many times food is wonderful 🌺
Yum, food looks awesome! My wife also makes hamburger that way. Thx for answering my question. Best thing about travel besides seeing the sights is trying new food. Would love to go to Japan one day. Got a trip set for Vegas coming up. Hope to make it to Hawaii again soon.
looks very good, now I am hungry!
I wanted to go vegas and NYC but I think I'm gonna hold off on traveling cause of the cases going up on the mainland. But I do want to go to Japan. and your food looks super ono!
Just went back home to the Big Island with my husband and boys. It was their first trip ever to Hawaii and a bit overdue. Went back to Laupahoehoe to see where I grew up. Took them up to the school and down to Laupahoehoe Point. Ate at Cafe 100 one morning for breakfast. Sorry to say we didn't get Loco Moco but will be using the recipes you shared!
Aloha Cari and Family. Even though I don't eat beef or pork, I did enjoy watching a wonderful video on cooking at home w/family. I always watch your videos w/my 90 yr old Mom, who has vascular dementia but whenever she watches your videos, it reminds her of her childhood when she would cook with her parents and 4 siblings (it really puts a smile upon her face). Mahalo for another terrific vlog!
Thank you again for another great video! I too have never tried with kalua pig, but sounds like a winner! One of my sons likes it only with spam, but maybe he would try it with the kalua pig too.
That's exactly the way my mom made her hamburger patties. Looks delicious
Hey cari I make my hamburger Patty very similar to the way your mom makes it just that I put Half pork Half hamburger. And by the way I do all the cooking in my house my wife does not
