Nice recipe, will try tonight 🙂 And although no one asked, but for those who are unfamiliar with the American metric system, 4 cups = 1 quart = 1/4th gallon = 950ml. So this recipe uses an equal proportion of chicken broth and half&half.

Made this soup tonight for dinner, used onion powder in place of the onion, due to a dietary restriction. I also added about 2 cups more chicken broth then was called for. We had about 7 big bowls of soup from the recipe. Was very yummy and I made some homemade rolls to go with it. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

If you use heavy whipping cream instead of the half and half it is more of the consistency and taste of panera bread. Also the sharper the cheddar cheese, the better. You can also add a combination of cheeses to your soup. It's also easy to double the recipe or cut the recipe in 1/2 to suit your personal need.

Made it 🙌 sooo… good 👍 I didn't have mild sharp. I had extra sharp white cheddar and Colby cheese mix it and it made the Extra sharp to a mild lol 😆 👌. Great Recipe
