Oh, that was pretty! My Mom would take us to a tree farm to pick put our tree. We would tell her that it had to be taller than she was. I don't know why it ended up that just Mom and not Mom and Dad took us to get the tree. My nieces were horrified that Grandpa made his wife go out find the tree, cut it down, haul it back to the car and then into the house. Getting our tree when I was little is one of my happiest memories. Enjoy the holidays!

What a glorious place! I love that you and “husband” are teaching your kiddos to enjoy the simple pleasures and not electronics!! Such happy memories. Merry Christmas to you and your precious fam!

Ahhh, snow and pine trees – heavenly! Snow is a real treat in CA, and we are lucky if we can get one or two snow visits up in the mountains per year. I think your little guy's boots are backwards – 7:39 – my middle son used to switch his shoes all the time and then he complained that his shoes hurt 🤣🤣

Though I love your cooking and canning videos today's video washed over me like a big ole hug. You truly do live in paradise, so beautiful and serene. The kiddos were having a ball and they will have memories to share when they have kids of how things were when they were growing up. They are blessed to have you and your hubby as their parents. Please take us along for more rides, I loved it.

My dream has always been to live in Montana or Colorado and have a cattle ranch. But, my children are here based in Pennsylvania. I wish it would snow here in Pennsylvania like that. Our weather has been in the 40's and 50's, which is so disappointing. It's just God's breathing country out there.

Hi Carolina, what beautiful nature in Montana, I’ve never been there may have to travel someday! We are under a winter storm warning from 4:00 am Thursday to 10 pm on Monday! We are suppose to get snow on Saturday and Sunday where I live but at 7000 ft and above they will get feet of snow! The flatlanders drive like it sunshiny out! 😳 they come up to the mountains In flip flops and shorts🤔🤔🤔 they cause many accidents 😮🚓🚑🚒 have a blessed day!

When you’re ready to get the tree up, if you use hot water in the stand it loosens the sap so the tree will absorb water. Do that the first time and after that cold water. A Christmas tree farmer told me that. Your tree will last longer.beautiful memories for your children
