Good morning Tiffany!! Breakfast and supper looked delicious. Ladybugs mean good luck and good fortune. That cobbler looked so good. I'm definitely going to make it. Glad your mom is doing better. We'll continue to pray for her and y'all's family. Hope y'all have a great day and week with your parents.

I was thing in the summertime you might want to cook in the basement because will be cooler. So so neat having two kitchens. At my aunts house they had two kitchens in the summer they usually cook in the basement. And during the holidays it’s so nice to have the extra oven and stove to be cooking stuff on for like Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner and Easter. I meant to put this in another vlog but I forgot and put in this one while I thought about it.

I feel you on all that laundry. My washer and dryer get a workout. I am doing it everyday with a family of 8 or I'd be in trouble lol. I don't have a laundry room either so the clothes are visible in our kitchen (just a laundry closet in the kitchen that only fits the machines). I'll be so glad when my laundry is not in my kitchen anymore (yuck)! You're doing better than me though – ours a lot of times piles up in baskets because I have no energy to fold it after doing it all lol! I oftentimes get sad about my hubby and I's parents not being able to be in our kids lives. I was so involved with my grandparents, aunts, uncles extended family growing up. My poor kids don't have that. My mom lives in Stafford but she's not in the best of health so doesn't see the kids a whole lot (and can't do much with them). My dad has been absent from my life since I was a teenager and I never see him (he hasn't even met most of my kids). My MIL is amazing and I love her so much! But she lives in Florida so we only see her 1-2x a year for about 5-10 days normally. She's coming up to help us with a yardsale next week and we're really excited to see her! My husband doesn't know his father so my kids don't even have a grandpa at all in their lives. It's getting exciting for y'all! The weekend is almost here and you'll be moving in for good! Yay!

You miss your parents. Glad to hear that they will be there for your new adventure. Continued prayers for your momma. ❤ Instead of trying to revive the seedlings, just go ahead and start some more right away. You would only be a few weeks behind. I can't wait to see the garden and the chickens in YOUR house!

Enjoy your time with your parents. We too live hours away from our parents. We live in North Carolina and our parents and all of our families and best friends live up in Ohio. So it’s an 1/ hour drive for us to get there.

I've done Mississippi roast and chicken. The chicken was really good on poboy bread. I'm actually from Mississippi and I'm still trying to figure how this recipe got its name.

We actually tried the Mississippi roast last week and I did it wrong. I shouldn't have put my mandatory carrots in. I think it held the roast up too far. It was so dry and disgusting. Such a waste. But I can blame no one but me who wanted good cooked carrots. Lol. Glad to see your parents have made it for the week. May yall enjoy the visit and the process of moving together.

Glad your momma is doing better. 🙂 And I get you on being away from family. I'm in Florida and my family is in Michigan. That's the only way my husband and 16 yr old will eat roast. Good luck moving this weekend. 🙂

Moving day is getting close.. woohoo 🎉
I always notice Hayley gets home before everyone else… What time does high school get out??? Here where I live it's late like after 4. Elementary gets out at 245, middle at 330.
