I like to hop up regular kraft mac n cheese. Use all of the boxed ingredients. Milk, 1/2 stick of butter, 3 maybe 4 slices of a Xtra sharp cheddar and 1 egg. Do up the noodles, add the milk and butter, bring to a simmer. Add the powdered cheese, cheddar slices, and egg. Stir diligently at a simmer until the cheese is melted and the egg is cooked.
Viola! The best tasting, most calculated , arterial gob stopper you can serve at any meal!
-PS: If any concern should arise about one's own vascular health with this dish; simply grind up a few aspirin to a powder form and ad to the mac n cheese while cooking. This will keep the hemoglobin flowing freely for hours after the meal digests……..

I make three packs at a time and then mix in 8oz of shreaded sharp cheddar cheese. I divide this up into 10 small containers for my son to take to work or eat when he gets home. He absolutely loves it and so do I.

I wouldn't buy that crap again. I just bought the "sharp cheddar" frozen dinner because the yellow box spoke to me. It costs more than my favorite Stouffer's mac & cheese dinner so I figured it would taste better. Boy was I wrong. Not only did it taste like watered down cheese-whiz, the noodle were over cooked and had a gummy like consistently. I know the product you reviewed required some preparation but I wouldn't risk being disappointed again. How can yours be so good and the frozen one be so bad?

I tried the CB mac n cheese today. Upon the first bite, the thing that hit me was, it tastes just like the old Kraft Mac n Cheese Deluxe when the cheese sauce came in a can instead of the mylar pouch. It was pretty tasty.

If you haven't hit up the Cracker Barrel in CT yet, you should. It's very good and they stock all sorts of old fashion candy there, which is usually the reason i find myself going haha oh and while VHS isnt what it once was, there's still a thriving market for it….I've got a bit of a collection going (havent counted in a while, but it has to be nearing or over two thousand by now) if you guys put out episodes on VHS, I'd buy them

Bought some of this today at my SO's request after watching this episode. It was priced at $4.50 (near Seattle, WA) I thought the Sharp Cheddar variety tasted just like I remember velveeta shells tasting as a kid (but not how they taste now.) Overall pretty good, but for the price, not sure I'd buy again unless on sale. I can see this going on sale for 2/$5, I'd buy a fex boxes at that price. But maybe the bacon will blow us away and be worth almost $5.

I collect VHS. I have several thousand I would say. There is several companies like Mondo, Bleeding Skull, and Alternative cinema that sill put out movie movies on VHS so you could easily put out box Mac out on tape. The last Bleeding Skull release sold out within an hour. Check out the documentary Adjust your Tracking!
