This past weekend I made the apple crisp dessert with spice cake mix, however, I also added some cinnamon and then dried cranberries over the canned apples before adding the cake mix on top. Yum!

The apple crisp is a staple in our home as well. I've done cherry too, I do add about 1 cup of granola to the cake mix and it is incredible.
I'm in UK we don't have sticks of butter. What is the weight please.

I've never had apple crisp but looks super easy to make. Going to definitely try for the potluck. One question though….. why is there some areas that are white on top?… like the mix did not cook. Is that normal/ok to eat?
