Very informative video. I have watched several other videos about hard boiling eggs with the Instant Pot and, in every one of them, the presenter peeled the eggs right after cooling them in ice water and cut them open to reveal perfect results. My question is, how easy is it to peel the eggs after storing the unshelled eggs in the refrigerator for several days? Thank you for your response.

To all who watched this video…She is incorrect about how many eggs you can make. I have made an entire dozen, a full 12 eggs at one time. I set it for 7 mins and allow steam to vent on slow release. Perfect eggs every time!!!!!

Thanks . Do you think it would work ok if I turned the trivet that came with it on it's handles which would leave a lot of room underneath to put the necessary amount of water, so the eggs wouldn't be touching the water. When I had the trivet down like you show, The amount of water you use touched the eggs. Thanks 🙂

HI, just got my IP this week.  This is my first attempt at hard boiled eggs. My question is whether you were using the same trivet that comes with the IP (I have the IP Duo60 6 qt).  I was only able to put in maybe 1 1/4 cups of water otherwise the bottom of the water touched the eggs.  1 of my 3 eggs cracked open and the top half had no shell on it.  Happy to say I can still eat it.  I'm assuming it's having not used the amount of water you use. Would it work if I turned the trivet upside down or does the steam have to be hitting it really close to the eggs.  Not sure if the handles on the trivet wouldn't collapse if I did it that way.  I love your videos and have saved them to my database 🙂 thanks!
