Hi this is Sue, l just want to say a huge big thank you for watching your meals in a jar from back in the day, l just found it and l had to try to make it, and OMG, l opened a jar and made it and all l can say is that is was delish. My husband liked it, and my mother who lives with us actually like it, that means alot, she is picky. Only thing l am going to change up is add more cranberries, they add that something extra, Once again, Thanks for that great meal in a jar video. Sue.

Thank you so much. I love your videos. I have the same Ball canner that I see next to your sink. It has been a game changer for me and I love it. One of my favorite things is that it doesn’t splatter water everywhere. I have this water bath canner on a small cart. It has a couple of shelves and a drawer so I can store my canning supplies. I keep it in a closet and roll it out when I need it. I roll it up to the sink to fill it, and roll it where any steam can’t damage my cabinets, and then roll it again up to the sink when I need to empty it. Saves my back for sure.

I'll be canning rhubarb pie filling today. We got 4" of snow 3 days ago here in my area of Alaska (more up north), so my husband and I had to do a quick and intense potato digging effort. Our short falls are getting even shorter!

l just made 9 pint size jars of your deconstructive chicken and stuffing meals in a jar, from l think your posts were in like 2014 and let me tell you they look so yummy, can't wait to try one, l made them this size, cause l tolerate pork (chops, roasts, loins) my tummy hate it for some reason, but anyhoo… when l seen them made up, l said that is right up my alley, hubby doesn't like stuffing, so it is a win, win, situation for me. Love watching your channel. And l still have enough freeze dried chicken l think to do another 12 pint size jars. Thanks again,

Hey Linda, I just wanted to say thank you for the canning greens video you did, I seem to remember that it wasn’t a good thing to do. I grow a lot of greens each winter and really hate freezing them. Now I’ll be canning a lot of them along with dehydrating some, as well. Thanks again and take care!

Not sure how long you have had your Ball freshTECH. I have mine in the same exact spot by the sink under the cabinet. I noticed over time that the steam started to destroy the side of my cabinet! I have started putting a large cookie sheet leaned against the canner blocking the cabinet there to keep the steam from hitting it. In addition to making sure that holes in the top are pointed away form the canner. I think when I pulled it out this season I was not too careful about that. Not sure if that visual makes sense. LOL!

Wow, I need to go take a look at the video section of your channel page for the "Bloody Mary" recipe. Last night I ran a bunch of tomatoes from the garden through my big "Emulsifier-Blender" and for now they're in the fridge, but I need to figure out what to do with them because I have more tomatoes coming in. I'm a little disappointed in my tomatillo harvest as they are small, but this is the first time I have grown them in Ohio, so I am thinking there was just too much rain and maybe it was just too humid here to grow them. Thanks for the update Linda and oh, the reminder to get my garlic in the ground, I still have to do that too. You know, you seem really happy there in Washington state. Maybe it's because you're near your daughter, I'm really happy for you. Many Blessings to you dear lady.

Great updates! Looking forward to all the goodies. Guess what Hubby surprised me with this week? Zojirushi Virtuoso Plus Bread Maker. Do you have that yet? I'm guessing with "low-carb" you don't. But it does many things. If you have one, I'd LOVE to see some videos.

I have a question being a brand new canner. Why the salsa? Seems like everyone cans salsa, and I feel like I'm missing out on something? I don't eat salsa and chips, so is their another reason? Thank you
