The majority indian hindu peppe eat dishes mostly vegetarian, but those meat dishes, biriani Pulav)pulao, plob) aromatic dishes are made by Muslims of India, wherever you go, but in West Bengal hindus do make Biriyani too.
    from indian media:
    Synopsis
Though Hanumanthu’s mutton pulao is hugely popular, Mysore has its fair share of the other delicacy—biryani. By far the most popular place is RRR in Gandhi Square and the biryani, either mutton or chicken, is delectable and on the spicy side, while the kebabs and the plantain leaf meals come a close second. However, owing to the significant presence of Mohammedans in Mysore, some many little eateries and restaurants specialize in the delicate and aromatic Muslim version of the biryani. Many of these can be found in the Nazarbad area.
