Made these yesterday, they came out better than I expected! Even good a day later. Since going to New Orleans and trying dozens of beignets, I’m on the hunt for the Roosevelt hotel recipe, theirs are almost flakey! Morning Call also was a favorite, but more traditional like these 🙂

Everything I make using John’s recipe comes out amazing. I always get compliments using his recipes- savory and sweet. He should be on Food Network. Honestly his recipes come out just as good, if not better, than many Food Network stars
This recipe is fantastic ! It tasted amazing, the outside was kinda crispy and inside was nice and soft. I actually filled them with chocolate inside and it made it even better! However my dough was a little sticky so i had to add lots of flour later on. Overall good result, loved it👍
I have been watching his videos for a couple of years, and I really enjoy them. I now have non-baking friends contacting me telling me how I need to watch this guy! Yes…he is an inspiration! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Hi guys! Ok, so I'm on a diet and decided if I'm already going to cheat with flour, I'm not frying this on top of that lol. So I put the little squares I cut into my Ninja Air Fryer on the Bake setting for 15 mins……..OH MAN!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU JOHN!!!

True beignets, from Cafe du Monde, in New Orleans, doesn’t have yeast in them. This comes directly from the lead beignet maker
