The SDA church recommends a vegetarian/plant based lifestyle. However it is a recommendation. It follows the diet guideline of the foods that are listed in the Bible in the book of Leviticus concerning “clean” and “unclean” animals. It does not mean that the Bible tells us to eat any particular kind of animal, it’s just informing tvat if you are going to eat certain animals, which ones are healthier to eat. When In the creation, God did not intend for us to eat animals. Instead it was fruits, vegetables, and nuts. It was only after the flood, commonly related to “Noah’s Ark, that People started eating meat, as all plants were destroyed.

Asking how to clean the Vitamix pitcher — put it in the dishwasher. I did the dish soap and run it trick then wash it in the sink for years which got the food out but left that greenish brownish film nothing would scrub off then one night I threw it in the dishwasher and it looked better than it had in years. Next time I ran the dishwasher the Vitamix pitcher went in there and almost all the rest of that nasty looking film was gone. Third time got the rest of that protein film off of there and I am still floored that the easy thing was the best thing — here I had done the extra loving steps of hand washing all these years when I could have just thrown it in the machine. !!! I use Seventh Generation dishwasher detergent and no heat dry and the pitcher does not seem to be any worse for the machine washing. 🥦❤
