A tip from another channel taught me to rinse chopped onion in cold water in a strainer. It removes the sulfur.

In Spain, chorizo is solid and doesn't crumble :[ It's good though. They use it differently than in Mexico.

Those are some pretty special beans, alright. You can also cut a slit in one or more peppers and cook them in with the beans for a little included heat. My wife's cousin from Vera Cruz makes them with black beans as well.
