Well done for cooking that meal in the heat of summer – you have given me ideas for a winter warmer meal over here in the UK as Winter starts to make its presence felt

Would like to send you a Stornoway Black pudding to cook and try if you haven't already tried it. Not sure it will get through American postal service as it's a pre cooked blood product so if you could let me know. If you're not sure of what Black pudding is, just Google. It's delicious fried with Eggs and Bacon 😊

It looks amazing. I dont think we have much pork belly joints in UK unless you ask at a butchers. We tend to have it sliced and it's called bellydraft but it tends to be quite fatty and yours looks lean .. so not sure on that

Great video… Food looked delicious… Just something for next time… I think you should talk about the way you put the meat into the smoker… And how long it needs to rest for… Just so that people that are new to smoking or BBQing can learn and understand… Great video though… Thank You for all that you do and everything that you do… Take care…

    Now I'm hungry!! lol
Never had pork belly before but I love the fattier cuts of pork so I'd probably love it!! We make cornbread alot at our house, this recipe is great but I've never heard of cornbread with chunks of corn in it. Is that a real thing? The beans looked good too but I'm the only one who really eats them so it's easier from a can. Another great cooking vid!! Love you guys!!

Hiya. Pork belly very well known in the UK, it's where our 'streaky' bacon comes from (there are other cuts, of course). If you eat bacon, you eat pork belly; if you eat Chinese, you eat pork belly; if you eat pork, you eat pork belly. And who doesn't eat the fat? It's the best bit! The best pork chops are the ones with a good inch of fat, crispy on the outside and meltingly delicious on the inside. Trouble is, you have to get to the butcher before he's trimmed them all for the Healthy Brigade. Lol. I like the look of that corn bread, Jess, the one I had, you could knock nails in with it! Can't wait for YOUR bacon, Jon. Dry cured and air dried, I take it? All the best to you.

i usually trim the pork skin off and grill that separately for pork scratchins, then BBQ the pork meat after coating it with BBQ rub and sauce… or i wrap the meat onto a roasting spit and BBQ that way… will be trying that cornbread rcipe this weekend if weather turns good…

We love pork belly in the UK. British baked beans don't look or taste anything like American ones as ours are navy or haricot beans in a tomato sauce. The generally come in tins all Heinz ones also come in little pots you can microwave. When I eat baked beans I always add extra bits like garlic, fried onions a tin of chopped tomatoes and chopped left over potatoes which I fry a little in garlic butter with herbs before adding to the beans. Sometimes I add bacon or Italian sausage which I cook first before adding.

My family has always used Belly of pork for everyday and Sunday roasts. It is sweet and tasty with apple sauce and sage & onion stuffing. Thanks for your recipes. Well done in that heat.

That's a very different take on baked beans to what we get in the UK, looks yummy 😋. I've only had corn bread once and it wasn't sweet like yours but tasted fantastic. Jon cooked that pork belly to perfection well done guys x

Those Beans are something I remember eating at those Cowboy places in the US, they were super nice. Again they're not something we're have in the UK done like that. My only memories of traditional British cooking would be Peas and Carrots and Broccoli, but we'd never have Beans like that.
