Bev, I can't help wondering if you saved that water from simmering.
Seems to me like it would make great base for some kind of soup or stew…. or maybe even chowdah? Hell, you could use it for boiling cabbage to start your next stew.
Or use it for boiling up beans for chili… or black-eyed beans to go with some ham-hocks.
Boy, itsa good thing I'm not hungry.

If my mouth would stop drooling, I would tell you how wonderful that looks, but since you did this to me, I guess I will just have to go get me some Corned Beef and go copy your BBQ sauce cause I gotta have some of that. wow mmmm mmmm
I also just opened a new grill and it needs testing.

Man oh man, did that look awesome! Oddly enough, brisket is one of my favorite cuts of beef. Not that I don't love me a big juicy steak now & then, but a slow cooked brisket is just the best, whenther it's braised or barbecued. I could almost smell it through the screen! And that barbecue sauce of yours would make an old shoe taste delish! XOXO

Mrs.V have you ever had pastrami? Daughter and I use a corned beef brisket and rinse it but like you keep the spices on .. (we usually buy a few  around the first of the year and St Pat's day  and freeze). We then smoke it on our smoker for at least an hour to an hour and a half and we have the most AWESOME pastrami for sandwiches ..I slice it thin and put some in the freezer since a whole brisket is too much for daughter and I to eat in a timely way ..This might be another  lunch meat idea for Volfie???

OMG!  I discovered you this weekend and I can't stop watching.  You are fascinating!  So talented and amazingly productive in spite of your health.  You are living a life people dream about.  Good for you and your family!  I have never left a comment before but I just had to let you know how inspiring you are.

Was your corned beef precooked when you bought it? Here in the states, it is raw and would probably come out tough if we did this. Sounds wonderful!!

Yummy!  Just found you and your brother's channel about 3 weeks ago.  Love both of your channels!  Added some of the other's out there that you two have suggested, not disappointed with those either!   I'm not currently posting videos but sure learning how to improve on things from you both!
