    Such a great idea I do scallops and I use mushroom soup and milk or mushroom soup and water. Sometimes I'll change it up and use some cream roo just table cream. I have added cheese lately. I've even changed the soup up and tried other kinds. I know some ppl just use milk for scallop potatoes but my whole life everyone I knew did it my way. I don't find just milk has a flavor that gets thick and actually taste like scallop potato they taste bland to me. I do add onions garlic n all that Sometimes I'll put other stuff like spinach etc etc. But I never thought of making a rue and making white sauce and into a cheese. You know how many doff chess u could flip this with. And standing the potatoes up like this is a game changer. I love it
