As for the mascara coat question, it's probably like painting. You can put on a thick coat or a thin coat. It's often recommended to do more thin coats than just one thick one. It does take longer since the coats have to dry in between.

Dinner looked great. I am perplexed at how you are having people over. We haven't even been to our son's home inside. We had Thanksgiving alone and for Christmas will drop off gifts early in the month and remain outside. Yes, we have had vaccinations and boosters. Yes my grandchildren have had their second vaccination. The variants are still out and about so son wants his young family protected and his parents. Any one else like this?
