Good afternoon Chef Jeffery! What a wonderful road trip! The Dixie Cafe had a lot of great things! The catfish and the onion rings looked REALLY GOOD to me! All of the dishes looked excellent! I don't care for mushy meatloaf either. The three of you looked like you were having a good day together πŸ™‚ The farmers market was WONDERFUL! So many good things to pick from! Elderberry is very good for you, it boosts your immune system! Muscadine jelly tastes wonderful too! Thank you for taking us along on your road trip!
    God bless!

OMG 😳 why am I watching this video, when I’m starving. That food looks delicious 🀀. Especially the chicken fried steak, the onion rings, the steak πŸ₯© and the hamburger πŸ”. Maybe πŸ€” I should just say that everything looks good. Whatever I didn’t eat I would take home in a doggy bag. I’m sure it would taste even better later on. I wished I lived close enough to take a trip there. But maybe it’s a good thing that I don’t, because I think I gained 20 pounds from just watching this video. πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†. Thanks for letting us ride along with y’all for the day. Hope that your Mom enjoys the treats that you brought her.

    Any desserts? Maybe next time.
Looks like you all had a good time. You remind me of my Dad the way you critique the food and the way you didn't trust that watermelon 🀣 πŸ’•

Love Dixie Cafe and we have several in the DFW area. Chef found the info that I ask for in your previous video. Will be going to this Fruit Market! Texas has some of the best homemade onion rings nice and big with Texas sweet onions. With those watermelons so expensive they had better be sweet cause I would be really mad.

Enjoyed your road trip Chef. My grandmother loved Muscadine jelly, she was from Macon, migrating to Michigan! You always give me good memories! And I thank you for that! Also, those dried apples and apricots were cooked on stove, and she made fried pies!

Thanks Chef for taking us on another road trip! Dillon is getting more comfortable filming to That meatloaf lacked body and a better glaze. Also we have the only Dairy Queen in the town it has been there for 40 years remember the flavored dips for your cones? When i was growing up we drive there i get a dipped cone then we drive to the only airport and watch the planes takeoff and land that was the highlight of living in a small town begin 10 years old good ole fashion picnics long summer nights fishing picking berries and listening to a lot of Motown on my Stoop and Dick Clark and Soul Train! I miss those simpler times!

Thank you for the ride! I enjoyed it. That was close to my ole stomping grounds, Chilton, Texas. We went to that farmers market after our last trip with you there. That place is huge. I too love those circus peanuts. I just finished a bag of them a couple days ago. Love your videos. My husband and I watch your video together every night. Have a great day!

Chef I had to watch this video again lol. I forgot about the circus peanuts. We grew up in the country and used to buy those only when we went to the city to Edward's Department Store. I used to save my allowance for those πŸ˜‚…good old days.

Hello Chef and the gang! The food looked great (except for that meatloaf with the watery sauce). Does anyone remember or know of silver queen white corn? My grandmother and mother used to cut off the kernels and fry it in fat back grease or butter and black pepper. It was awesome served with garden fresh sliced tomatoes. Silver queen corn is so milky, tender and sweet!
