I have a question for you. I've seen every episode that you have on youtube and love all the recipes, tricks, & tips. I love the Instant Pot and use it almost on a daily basis. The question is this. Everything that you cook, how do you base your cooking time. I'm a very good cook, but the time throws me off. If you could help me, that would be great. Keep up the great job on the videos, and I will continue watching. I like the live shows that you do, it just shows the sense of humor that you have, and the "Show Must Go On".

Thanks Kristin, this, and pulled pork are my favourite things to cook in the IP.
I remove the silver skin from the bone side before adding the rub to let the flavours penetrate more and nobody likes that chewy stuff anyhow. The potential downside of this is if you overcook the ribs then they will separate when you lift them out. Also a couple of tablespoons of liquid smoke (I use Stubbs, because that's the most available brand in the UK) and then finish off with Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce which is the best imo.

Oh heck, you all do it the hard way. I cut my ribs into 2 bone sections. Add them to the pot with BBQ sauce and a 1/2 jar (8 oz) of grape jelly and some water (about a cup of water). Set my instant pot on pressure high 10 minutes. Try my recipe. You kids will love it. Also good for meat balls and chicken. I wanted to see if you put yours in the oven after to bake them after cooking. I was really surprised you didn't put the sauce in with your ribs. I'll have to try your method. They do look yummy.

Based on your channel I purchased a 6 quart Instant Pot this week. So far I’ve made a pot of pinto beans (they seemed to be okay — it’s a learning process) and oatmeal this morning. So far I’m liking it a lot.

Don’t have an instant pot, if you could believe that much….which one do you recommend since I have no clue and there are too many choices. I would watch your channel for most recipes, so whatever you use would probably work. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Someone asked about the presets (like Soup). If you select a preset and change the time, the IP remembers that the next time. That way if you make a recipe often, it might be helpful to put in your own time for that setting. Try to go online and read IP cookbooks from your library–there are a lot of helpful hints about using it and what the different settings mean.
