You guys should go visit your family in jersey since you haven't been there since before the pandemic! Or maybe have a staycation at the cottage?
Many countries that produce these ingredients have no pesticide education for farmers, no protective equipment for them, no limits on using chemicals banned in Canada or Europe.
No certification process to insure what they say is true, they wish for the higher price "organic" brings.
Without an Ecocert or OMRI listing it is just advertising language.
That's why I hate when people say it's too expensive to eat vegan. No, it's expensive to eat HEALTHY. You can eat vegan for cheap. It just might not be the healthiest.
