There goes the dirty red bag, back onto the bed once again. Why oh why does Alex allow her bag on the clean beds? It was just on the street a moment ago. Hasn't anyone noticed this or doesn't it bother anyone that men spit on the street, dogs urinate on the street, people spit gum onto the street? Never put street shoes on a bed, sofa, chair, etc, or any purse, bag, any luggage on a fabric surface. It's just too gross!!

Shock, amaze, the newly refurbished 'sun lounge' already has mismatching chairs at tables- if this trend continues they are definitely going to drop ratings, not increase !

With the seeming overwhelming majority of staff in this establishment NOT being WASP, how on earth does the culture change – simple it won't ! Believe this Hotel is currently for sale, let's hope the new owners provide for the majority of British patrons.

Lovely balcony re do as long as you like pink ! Alex the colour in this day and age is abhorrent, absolutely awful ! Whatever happened to non intrusive beige combined with coloured highlights e.g. flowers, decorations, etc. Pink makes you feel like you are in a Ladies only retirement home.

I’m staying at a guesthouse in Albania at the moment, at 14 Euro/ £12.5 GBP per night (and the room sleeps 3) The standard is miles better than this ‘hotel’ – private balcony, very comfortable double bed and hotel quality white linen and towels, squeaky clean, a fridge in the room and access to a kitchen, lovely garden view etc. This so called hotel has hostel type rooms in my opinion!

Not easy to see when this might have been filmed. One of the reviews says this establishment has subsequently changed names. One wonders how it's faring now.

I am sensing a sniff of tall poppy syndrome here, or is it overt racism.
The man's ego isn't on review, they way he treats people is.
What I saw was a man put in the effort to welcome guests.
    Well done.

I really like this hotel owner and respect he shows women, which is uncommon. He goes out of his way to make 'us' feel special. I respect that in men more than anything. I think he is kind, and considerate and open to new ideas and suggestions. Of all hotel owners I have seen on 'Our Taste', this is by far the best hotel owner. His desire to do the right thing is really impressive. The male team here is unique in this way and I would overlook a lot to receive this treatment from the owner and upper-level support staff. The tea/coffee thing is important. Flavor is everything. And personally, I only drink Mint Tea, and enjoy coffee, usually a cappuccino!

Love the rock climbers, salt of the earth they are. Never played bingo, he’s too busy for that. You go! Thank you so much I truly laughed out loud literally……I was born brilliant!! And rolled the eyes twirle the hair…perfect. His ego is bigger than the 100 rooms.

With the specter of the grocers sprog hanging in full view, I would have left immediately. If that's his way, so be it , but what other horrors await those who are less discerning , false fireplaces and poor service.

I never fail to be impressed with Alex Polizzi's patience when dealing with people.. Being super sharp and a total professional, she must at times have a volcano rising to explode deep inside.

Lots of insincere flattery towards guests doesn't make up for sloppy service. Did anyone notice that their are no females in the management? and who is running the kitchen?
