Sorry about the weird noise in the first clip! If you want to skip to the Aldi groceries, go to 1:45. In this video I take you guys to Aldi with me to check out all of their …
So glad you did this video. I’m a faithful Whole30-er and I’ve done 2 successfully and I’m preparing for a third. It’s cheaper (yes you heard me) to eat healthy, especially from a bulk store/wholesale. You just have to be willing to put in the prep work. I’m a college student on a budget and did my second Whole30 in a a college cafeteria (I didn’t think I was going to make it) but I did have stuff I got from the store too: I always had my own sweet potatoes (they covered ours in margarine 🤢) and I kept Lara bars and Rx bars in my room for breakfast. I also jus tried to have fresh fruit and easy to eat veggies (tomatoes, carrots, broccoli) in the fridge. these foods are expensive at places like Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s, and aldi is a life saver.
wow so cheap for food in the US, Canada has ridiculous food prices.
I have serve m.e and fibromyalgia housebound with ibs am anxiety. I tried so hard to go gluten dairy free by the third day I felt like I was going to pass out. I eat alot of milk an sugar an bread an cutting it made me feel even worse. But once returned to eating all the normal stuff I felt better ish but back my baseline
awful m.E and pain. Maybe I needed more food or more time on it.
I can't be the only one to say this but–corn chips are not Whole30 compliant!
Great video! I also miss lentils and quinoa while on round.
I'm thinking about doing Whole 30 but it's overwhelming to me. The grocery shopping and meal planning. Thanks so much for the tips!!
Lentals. All you have to do is soak them over night to release the phytic acid and then you are good to go.
I don’t think you’re awkward!!! I like that you’re real ❤️❤️❤️❤️
GREAT VIDEO!!
Is everything you got still for treating fibromyalgia? It’s my first time having to shop for a new diet like this . How do you know when something is gluten free when shopping ? Thanks for all the info so far ! 🙂
I live in Chicago. Where’s your Aldis at 😭
Sprouting lentils helps with digestion. 🙂 I sure notice a difference.
It is AAAAAAldi, not Oldi
I HATE Fruit too!! But I eat all Veggies!! Glad we are not alone. Everyone on at my gym think I'm nutty
I blend fruit into smoothies on my whole30 and I don't care what anyone thinks about it. It's a whole food, I could mash it all up with a rock in the wild if I really wanted lol.
Gonna try Aldi out in Australia for Whole30, just a pain because our closest one is in a big mall so you have to take your trolley up escalators to get back to your car and stuff haha, and not open as late as the other big chains. P.S. what camera do you use?
Wonderful thanks
Thanks! Loved all the info!
You can roast frozen Brussels sprout?
I am having to develop a taste for avocado. Never liked them.
Aldi is a British wal mart. This is the protocol in england.
Thanks for this! Great video and I like how you talk about food costs and what's important to you 🙂
