What stresses me out is finding a recipe and converting it to what we use. An American cup measurement is different to UK grrr lol xx

Aldi have step up their games, in introducing new product range, but I still preferred Lidl as I get money off coupons weeklygrocery shopping.

Oh I totally agree with you over the stuff we don't do here that's readily available in other countries. America especially as I love a lot of the recipes I see and the searching to find alternatives can be a pain. I feel your pain Victoria haha 🖤🐈⬛ xx

Hi Vicki! As an American I was laughing at you wanting large sizes of groceries.😂 Its seems that we do everything so big! Many grocery items here come in smaller size and jumbo size especially if you go to Costco or those types of places. Velvetta cheese is actually a block of creamy tasting cheese like processed cheese slices
We call those slices American cheese. It's pretty expensive and very high calorie Many people don't like to use it because its not very healthy, it is delicious especially melted into recipes. And Ranch dressing is easily made with some spices and dry buttermilk powder. Americans use a ton of Ranch in everything from pasta salads to dipping sauce and drizzled over cooked veg and as a dipping sauce for raw veg too. I envy so many of your food products. Your selection of crisps is far better than our flavor assortments for one example. Love watching your videos!

A lot of the things that the USA has that we don't is because of food regulation laws, UK is way stricter and many American foods we have here have completely different ingredients than they do in the USA! Could be that? X

You can get cans of enchilada sauce. Half n Half is like single cream, heavy cream is our double or whipped. I make my own ranch dressing but the best one has buttermilk powder in it, it cost me a fair bit to buy buttermilk powder. You can get bottles of ranch dressing though. What I'd like is cornbread mix lol or small cans of mild green chillies, oh and those ready made biscuits packs (scones). Closest thing to velveeta is probably kraft cheese slices. Great haul, I can't wait to try that cereal. Thanks for sharing xx

Graham crackers, like we know smores are a thing and we make fake ones using digestives but just sell us the crackers! Also totally agree on the shredded hash browns, I food prep breakfast wraps and they would save so much time.

Mexico is next to the US so it makes sense that there would be the food influence. In the UK Indian convenience foods sauces are more common due to the colonial past, plus we still have easy access to all the European speciality items!
Vicki, these products you mentioned, you aren’t missing much. All basically junk food. You have an amazing array of food choices in the UK and much cheaper than here in Canada. I love visiting the grocery stores in the UK, particularly M&S. I could spend a day in the food department. Make your own salsa, it’s not hard. Velveeta cheese is disgusting – think plastic. Even in Canada we don’t get a lot of the products that are sold in the US. I like to think our food regulations are more stringent. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🎄🎄🎄
Salad creme. I was only able to get it in a Irish specialty shop in the US. Carried my share home from the UK many times. If anyone in the US knows where to find it please reply. I think it's a Heinz's product.

Fantastic haul as usual. I totally agree with the food you can get in America but not here… I watch a lot of American hauls and I’m so interested in what they can get.

Oh Vicki, I so agree with you about the ingredients we can’t get here. Velveeta we had in my childhood but not available anymore. Do you remember cracker barrel cheese, it’s disappeared. I buy bottled ranch dressing, you can buy many items on eBay but the cost is prohibitive. I would love the bottled creamers for coffee, too expensive from America. Madness. We need a Walmart…lol! 🥰🇬🇧

Velveeta cheese is a processed cheese. Imagine nacho cheese from the movie theater but in solid form. You aren’t missing anything.
And there are TONS of things you can get in the UK (at least at a reasonable price) that we can’t get in the US. Think halloumi, harissa, all your great prepared foods etc. It’s understandable that there are so many more Mexican ingredients in the US. But honestly, it’s only in the last decade that the UK has even embraced the kits. So I wouldn’t be surprised if you start to get more ingredients to cook independently in the near future.
Your an inspiration, I've been de-cluttering my chest freezer and small freezer to stock up on salmon when it goes on sale round here. They sell massive ones for £20 plus. All our family like it and our Frenchie 🙂 xXx
… you are not alone in your wondering. Am fascinated by those 'biscuits' that are unwrapped and baked – the ones that look like scones. Have seen Tipper Pressley make them from scratch using plain flour and cream.
Many of the things you mentioned that you don't have there contain unhealthy ingredients that are banned in UK sad but true the US allows additives and preservatives most other countries don't as they have been proven to be bad for consumption. Like you I wonder why we can't get Prawn cocktail chips here Walkers is basically Lays in US but we don't have prawn cocktail flavor here and I adore it doesn't make sense why they don't make it here I know it would sell.

Victoria, we've just come back from Disney… and I miss the Tostitos cheese dip 🙁 the nacho cheese dip you get here is nothing like it. I tried making my own… but it's not the same 🙁 boooooo
I love ranch dressing but the only one I ever find is the Paul Newmans one in Tescos which I love but they haven’t always got it & it is a bit pricey. ☹️. ❤️
Velveeta cheese is disgusting,it is very plasticity consistency…Over in the UK, you have way better chocolates than we have here in the US and some many other yummy food items,way to many for me to mention.
