When you mentioned about buying a cow my mom used do that. Once a year she will go to farmer and purchased a cow. He will sliced it up for her. Are you going do a video on vacuum sealer? I have one. I know how to use the machine but it is always good to learn more

Excellent tips. I stopped buying meat at Walmart years ago. I purchased several packages that were spoiled and what wasn’t just didn’t have much flavor no matter how I seasoned it. We do have our own chickens and really enjoy fresh eggs. It’s just two of us at home now so we’ll share with our neighbors.

This is such helpful advice. There is nothing like old school advice! Also, I’ve told a lot of people that when meal planning, throw in a few casseroles, a one pot meal (one pot wonder), and some crockpot meals. Lord bless the crockpot because it helps out in a pinch! If you have any crockpot recipes, please share. Thank you!

Chef Jeffrey it's awesome that you did this video, thank you.

The sad part is that many folks, have no discipline whatsoever. Also Jeffrey can you do a video on emergency pantry prep?
Stores are running low on certain foods. There are signs many States power being lost, not knowing why.

And many people aren't aware of what to buy in case of emergency to survive. When there's no power. Folks also need to know how to survive outdoors.

You have camping skills Jeffrey. So I'm just a person that thinks and plans ahead.
Many don't know how to grow a garden as well. This would be some well needed content to your channel. God bless everyone.

I enjoy just listening to you. How you explain things when you cook etc. These videos are very informative. I agree with everything you’re saying. I’ve learned to cut back on meats & still make delicious meals with chicken & ground meats…& veggies.
If you have any Amish stores around, they sell in bulk. God has definitely blessed you! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge…God will take care of us!

Hi Chef, I've been canning for many years. I'm a country girl and my family got by on canning our food. Daddy bought half a pig and we raised chickens. I don't remember eating a lot of beef except hamburgers and meat loaf. I will be greatly interested in your canning series.I was buying Walmart's leg quarters but will take your advice on being cautious of there meats. I catch sales on Wednesdays and very frugal shopper. I hope people listen to your knowledge and be ready for the coming years. #helpingotherswithapurpose

So thank you for letting me know a few things to do to help out. I had been thinking about getting a deep freezer but it's not in my budget .. I'm still gonna try. I grew up with a deep freezer in my home and it helped us out so much. Your channel always brings me back home .. thank you for that Old school
