Kara, thank you for all you do with freshly milled grains. I’m a newby at making bread with fresh milled wheat and I’m looking for a good potato bread recipe. Maybe you’ve done this one before but if not, maybe do a potato bread in 2024? Happy New Year!

Thank you for being so generous in sharing your knowledge. I bought my Breville toaster oven because of you and I love it! Also bought my Bosch mixer that is just like yours because it’s compact and uses low Watts so I can use with my solar generator when I camp. Thank you for your many great recipes! Have a very Blessed 2024!

Thanks to you Kara. I'm really on about a month in. I recall getting my first grain order by Azure a month a go. I have tried so many of your recipes. You also recommended May at Rose Homesteading and between the education and videos you both have has given me great success and happiness. See you for more learning in 2024.

Kara, I just wanted to thank you for all that you have done for the “fresh milled community “. When I started this journey, info on this subject was very scarce but you and a couple others have brought awareness to this subject and now finding info is quite easy.

When I am looking for a new recipe or want to try something new, it is always Grains in Small Places that I go to. You not only provide quality recipes, you provide recipes that are well researched, very detailed, dependable and also provide background info and techniques for best results. I have always had great success with your recipes and techniques and I trust them over and above all others.

Creating a recipe, writing it and providing all the info you do is a lot of work and time. It is not a quick process.

Thank you for all that you have done and do, it is greatly appreciated and has helped me with the learning curse in this fresh milled journey.

I wish you and your family an awesome new year. Thx again.

Lolololol … using Nixmatalized corn for tortilla CHIPS , not just tortillas but actual THIN restaurant style CHIPS lolololol … help a sista out! 💚Mims

I enjoy you and your down to earth style. As soon as I sell my mobile home I will start on my journey of baking bread. I tried earlier in year and wasn't to successful. But watching you has given me hope of doing better. God bless you and your family. Be happy and dafe in New year🎉

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and recipes! In my bread journey, it is Sue Becker and you! I hope you see what a compliment that is! :-). I dove into everything Sue has been sharing and if it wasn't for you and your videos I am not sure I would have been as successful as I am. You have the best videos to teach us how to mill the wheat berries, shape the dough, and get a great bake! Keep the recipes coming! You are a great teacher and I appreciate what I have learned. My friends who are now milling wheat get links from me to your videos as you are the best teacher. Thank you again!
New Idea if you are interested: Get a Zojirushi bread maker and teach us more about using it to create recipes. This is how I mix and get the first rise from my dough. I often use it to mix and rise then I shape and bake. You'd be a great teacher in helping us learn more about the machine and troubleshoot through it. :-). Happy New Year!
