I live in Yorkshire, England. Tallow is a very popular fat here, you can buy it at the butchers where it is called mucky fat! The mucky element is the meat juices that are brown in the tallow, the muckier it is the more it is prized, It is completely delicious. In Yorkshire it is often eaten spread on bread with a little salt on top, which is brilliant. I am a newby here and am trying to work out how many kids you have. The kitchen seems to be full of beautiful little seraphim.

I love these videos. I don't try to make the food look pretty unless I have company. As long as it tastes good, I am all in. I don't have kids. I don't know how you Mom's with big families do it all. I can barely keep myself in line. My Mom never made crumbles and desert type things for breakfast. I love that idea.

I'm just getting around to watching this now (Monday night), but I had to comment: this very morning, I got out my big heart shaped cookie cutter and made heart shaped pop tarts for my valentines 🙂. Too funny.

You mentioned you haven't converted to the instant pot yet, but I can't recommend it enough. It's a life changer! Plus it has a crock pot function so you can still do crock pot meals, but it's so multifunctional that I hardly even use my stove anymore.

Ive got 2 dehydraters and I really wish to one day own a freezedryer. Wow im sure it really helps give you a better way of saving your food n bits. I do have a foodsaver and gallon mylar bags and 5 gallon bags with oxygen absorbers. Those freezedryers are so expensive though. I know theyre worth it cause theyre versatile. Anyways thank you for sharing what you know and your awesome family too. Ive started kombucha and its on its second ferment with the tea and skobie. I recently bought a viome test and it shows that i need to eat fermented foods and probiotics for my health and to lose some weight. I need to lose weight this year and get healthier too.

I love watching your videos. They fill me with inspiration and provide quality information. I especially love your pantry challenges and full week of meals for family. It can be tough cooking everyday, but when I see what other mothers are making and baking for their babes, it makes me smile and I feel motivated again. Thank you 🙏 😊

Love that olive oil was your “convenience “ food” it is sometimes hard to remember while cooking to use different things. I left my son to make Rice Krispie treats and he used shortening in the pan. Maybe not the best choice but I think he clearly remembered to just use the butter wrapper this time 😂 Another amazing week!
