I definitely need to try cooking beans like this. I just buy cans, although I do have a bag of black beans that I've had for awhile but haven't done anything with. Maybe I will give these black beans a try next week.

I wish I could get used to the taste of brown rice. I have tried so many brands but it is just a no go for me. I guess it is the nutty taste that throws me off. Did you like brown rice right away? All your meals look wonderful.
