Wow everything looks great! 😍 (no comment on how the Water Pie looks lol 😆 I’m glad it was tasty 👍🏻 you’re brave Jen 😄) I’m going to make the chicken!
"ya done good. Why not throw some pecans on top of that water pie???
Fun video! That chicken looked so good that it made me hungry! I missed dinner and it feels too late to make something, so now I’m starving! That chicken would hit the spot!
All that you made looked delicious and wasn’t hard, but wasn’t barebones, either. Anyone could come up with a lower budge Thanksgiving dinner with just a bag of stuffing mix, a box of instant potatoes, some green beans and a can of sweet potatoes. But you spent just a couple of extra dollars to make those items have extra flavor and be holiday special.
And then you did dessert! I’d heard of water pie, but had never seen it before and had no idea what it would taste like. It actually looked like it had some possibilities!
As a semi-related question, have you ever made vinegar pie? Or the mock apple pie made with Ritz crackers? That might be an interesting subject for a video – foods that use unusual ingredients and don’t sound like they’d work or taste very good. They often are delicious. I remember a chocolate cake from my childhood where the dry ingredients are placed in the cake pan and three wells are made. I can’t remember exactly what you poured in, but I think water went in one, oil in another and vinegar in the third. Sounds like it wouldn’t produce a cake and like if it did, it would be terrible. But it was surprisingly good – very moist – and we made it once a week for a couple of months! ETA: It was called Cockeyed Cake and the wells had oil, vinegar and vanilla and the water was just poured over everything!
Such a fun video. Water pie !! 🤣 loved your critique.
That chicken looked succulent. I'm impressed by the mashed potatoes. Excellent 👍❤
I love that you cut your pie like I do. It makes me crazy when people cut lopsided wedges of pie or cake. BTW, I enjoy watching your videos very much.
You dud Super on that small budget and the looked so Delicious 😋 😊❤🙏

Never in my life heard of a water pie 😮
We’re can I find no no seasoning I’ve looked everywhere
I grew up on sugar cream pie, using flour, sugar, half and half, cinnamon, and butter. It is our state pie in Indiana.
When cooking real sweet potatoes, I boil them and then marinate them in orange juice, honey and orange marmalade overnight. When I bake them I put white and brown sugar on top. The orange flavor is subtle, but I think it adds a lot.
Looked good! I'm trying the water pie lol, even if just for fun.☺ Thanks for the ideas!
