I'd keep the instruction book for the canner inside the canner. Put the canister of spaghetti in the pasta bin, and put the rolled oats in the empty coffee bin and relabel it. Then the baking stuff could all be shifted to the right and the cereal bins could be on their left instead of in front of them. So nothing would be blocking anything else. Oatmeal should go next to the cereals.

re: coffee storage. I buy coffee in plastic containers also. It always bothered me that opening it exposed it to air. Some years ago I started decanting it to mason jars and using one at a time, hopefully keeping the others fresher. Then earlier this year I watched a video (I think on Rose Red (I think she is a retired teacher of home arts) ) about a mason jar vacuum sealer. It isn't the type that hooks to a bag vacuum sealer by a hose. It only does jars, regular or wide mouth. It runs a LONG time on a charge; pretty sure I've never recharged mine. It cost $19. It comes with some canning lids but you can also use unbent used ones so it saves money that way. It isn't for liquid or regular canning you would likely guess. Anyway, now I put the coffee in jars and seal them to keep out oxygen and I certainly imagine that the coffee is more fresh 🙂 I also use it for bulk tea, herbs and spices, etc. I tend to buy in bulk as well as harvest things I dehydrate and store. This gadget is working well for me. I get so tickled when I break the seal and it pops. You can seal the same jar and contents over and over if it is worth it to you.
After sealing the coffee I definitely put it on the shelf, not the fridge. I brew coffee via percolation on the stove and my fridge and stove are a distance apart – so this is more of a convenience thing. I don't think storing a tightly sealed mason jar in the fridge would hurt or help but you do you!
I think maybe the most valuable thing you shared today was that you can set something up, use it for awhile, and set it up again. I think eventually you end up with your best system, at least until the next "season" of life.
Right now I'm working on cookbooks and loose recipes. Some of these were wedding gifts 40+ years ago (Fanny Farmer, Betty Crocker), some from when we lived on an Indian reservation, some from the 80's when my kids were young, some as I was delving into more healthy eating — etc., etc. So many decisions, and strangely sentimental. Have you tackled recipes yet? My current task (besides decluttering) is to organize the remainder of the loose recipes for efficient use. I've got a couple of 3 ring binders so far; I got rid of an index card box and a recipe folder book. Next up is to start figuring out all the duplicates and wishful thinking recipes and weed them out, now that they are in categories. It is time consuming but sort of fun.
Keep up the good work. While I am watching this the subscriber number is 906.

You 2 work so well together. I find it so interesting to see what others keep in their pantries, since I barely keep any food on hand. I should probably change that since i live 30 minutes from a store. There's only one way to the main road and it gets flooded, a tree blocks it, or ices up every year❤

Hi ladies! After spending 2 years clearing and decluttering the house Hubster and I inherited from his parents, it was good enough to live in and the clutter is really under control, with just some random areas left that weren't a priority and weren't in the way. So we stopped and decided that 2023 was going to be our year of relaxation. But I've been watching your videos, and Peeling Back the Clutter videos, and A Beautiful Mess videos, and realized that I actually kind of enjoy and miss the decluttering process. So today I got to work on paperwork that's been stored in a closet, for an estate that my father-in-law settled back in 2015. After going through all of that paperwork, and filling a whole big plastic crate with paper that needs to be shredded, I thought, "I'm tired and don't feel like doing anymore." Then I thought, "what would CC and JuJu do? I know – play cards and eat! " So I'm going to eat lunch and call it a day, declutter-wise. Thanks, ladies! haha I keep my appliance manuals in the actual appliance normally. I'm dying to know what that pretty turquoise appliance is! You two are getting so much more relaxed in front of the camera and your personalities are really shining. I love your videos. You are really making some great progress! Keep it up!! CC I love your new hairdo!

For the coconut oil you can make your own body wash which is also a moisturizer which is one part coconut oil and one part baking soda. The benefit is coconut oil is anti-bacterial, anti-fungus and anti-microbial too. If not for baking coconut oil is also a great moisturizer for your skin as well. Last use is to use for dental care after teeth brushing

The dates on food is not an expiry date. It is usually a best by date and food usually lasts at least a year past the date, it is just best by so it might not be as good but it is still good. Especially dried foods.

Honestly…you could move the shelving unit out and downsize to make everything you keep fit into your cupboards. I know its easy for me to sit back and tell you what to do, but sometimes you just have to accept the limitations your space is allowing. You could easily live with half the stuff. Love and hugs you gals are doing an amazing job.

Great job ladies! Couple suggestions… the empty freezer bins should go on top and the bin of ziplocs should go on the bottom, unless the bin of baggies are overflow and you keep some in a drawer for every day use. If you are getting into that bin more than once a week, it should be lower. The big spice bottles Cee Cee said were overflow from the spices on the fridge…. I'd bury them in the back of the shelf because it will be awhile before she needs to access them again and they are wasting valuable real estate being in front. If they are pushed back, the smaller items in front of the baking canisters could go in front. Speaking of which, if the baking stuff was considered important enough to keep on the counter at one point, they should not be in the back of a shelf, unless its a seasonal thing and you won't access them for several months. For that matter, the extra flour bag should have gone in one of the baking bins, though I know there wasn't currently room. Anything that impedes the use of easy access canisters defeats the purpose of keeping them in canisters. That will likely get resolved after the next baking session though when either the flour in the canister is used up or space opens in a baking bin. Now, I am wondering if after a little while of use if you don't end up putting all the asian sauces and bottled ingredients back in a bin. I prefer to slide a bin forward, grab the bottle I want, and slide it back, vs shifting bottles around on a wire shelf that (at least on mine) sometimes makes the bottles want to tip over. Oh, and you can put the manual for the canner with other canning supplies like empty jars and fresh lids. OK, that was more than a couple, sorry! You girls are REALLY doing a great job! I just found you this past week and am going back to older videos. I'm glad Dawn was able to motivate you! For me it was Dana K White. I am a naturally organized person, but it is Dana's container method that helped me declutter. Have you done their course?

I had so many comments thru the whole video, but You did a great job! My pantry room is my organizing baby, and ironically I'm working on mine today. I was happy to see you take the bottled items out of bins and free stand them. That made a huge difference for me to see what I have and use it . Lastly, NO COFFEE IN THE FRIDGE! It doesn;t keep it fresher, coffee is an odor absorber and absorbs all the food odors. Have a great day ladies! 🦋
