For a hot second I thought that the narrator was Aidy Bryant. Love all things autumn, food and varying shades of burnt umber so I'll watch a few times anyway. Happy Thanksgiving and Hanukkah and Merry Christmas!

when allison is talking to her cat and says "do you want to be on the camera" I definitely thought she was going to make a joke about bringing the turkey on screen

Wow that is your best video ever. I love how you aren't just teaching us how to do Thanksgiving, but you're there as a therapist for our Thanksgiving anxieties. Very well done. Food looks amazing!

Thank you so much for this amazing episode! I loved the dialogue and all of the work you and your team put into this!! I also really love your chill approach, for some reason the stress always creeps up out of nowhere even when I don't have guests! Loved the entire menu! Really want to make that gratin and mushrooms and green beans… And add a stick of butter to my chunky mashed potatoes (which are my fav too!!)

Thanks, Alison..this was so great! I love mushrooms, oddly enough never put them in green bean casserole..one of my faves, but the stuffing takes the cake! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your kitty!

These are a delight — ALWAYS. Thanks to you and the whole crew for these videos. QUESTION: do you not scoop out the seeds of the honey nut squash like one does for the sister butternut? Should you/must you/can you?

all I could think about was those persimmons and thinking imagine if they're not quite ripe and you take a mouthful and your mouth just kinda implodes. lol

Brit here…. watching this to compare and contrast. Stuffing is the best food of all time! Chestnut, next day, with bread sauce, cranberry sauce and a parsnip. Great video as always

Alison, you're an absolute delight to watch cook. I was gonna say the turkey cost like $75. That's what the non-organic similar size birds cost at Whole Foods last year. These $25 turkeys people are talking about are some sad ass birds. I appreciate that Alison buys organic and from a small-scale butcher. And HELL YES Thanksgiving rules because it's not so centered on capitalism.
