I come from clotted cream making country and you neednt have mixed in the crust, we generally fight over it, so good job, looked fantastic

After online searching and checking all the brands at my local Krogers, Target and Walmart, it seems that all cream now is ultra pasteurized. My Instant Pot is really depressed. If anyone has found standard pasteurized heavy whipping cream in the States, I'd love to know!! As always, enjoyed the video!
Oh Dale, how could you tempt me with that cream, brings back memories when I had my cow, they were the good old days, cream, butter, cheeses, and milk all natural, not like the stuff I'm getting now, but glad we have memories. BTW you are lucky to have the natural stuff there in Canada! Looks delicious as I drool all over the place……..!!! thanks for sharing though. That might be a good bread type to make when I had to go to the store, and didn't. I'll have to re-watch you again how to make the Bannock..
A cream tea is such a wonderfully civilized tradition. What a lovely Canadian twist you showed us.
Your fried bannock reminds me of Native American fry bread, which is popular in parts of the US, and sometimes served at outdoor festivals with taco fillings.

Hi Dale, I have seen King Cole tea here in the stores around Wasaga Beach, Elmvale and Midland areas of Ontario. My Mom I always remember saying "that damn old King Cole Tea" cause her Mom, my Grandmother always had it in the house and drank it, but my Mom preferred Red Rose. My Dad lives in Sussex Corner NB and I visit him twice a year. Would like to someday make a road trip to Campobello some time I'm down. Hope you enjoyed that.
