wow i literally did the same thing, i was having a hard time and i distanced myself for a year, trying to heal but when i tried to see if i could be their friend again… it didn't really work. it's so sad even tho i tried to have no expectations yk but still love them. anyway its nice to see it worked for you, i love that.
