Delicious Fish & Chips made right at home with your air fryer! Tender & flakey fish with a crunchy breading that tastes just like it was deep fried served with crispy …
I have always thought it would be great to have an air fryer. But the more I watch videos of people using them the more turned off I am with the hassle of using one. I do not have the time and inclination of this. Always find these so disappointing. But I love fried stuff but I can’t eat fried foods due to medical problems. There has to be an easier way. Plus, everything has to have oil added anyway…so you still have fat—my definite enemy.
Hi sweet lady😍 I love your delicious videos😋 Can you make some of your recipes Keto style?
Second time watching you and I really enjoy the way you cook. I learned lots watching you make beef stew including why you shouldn't wash mushrooms. I didn't know to defrost fish on a rack in the refrigerator if you want the flour and bread crumbs to stick.
I think Billy will LOVE these!!!! (me too!) 🙂
good
Enjoy the show! Very clear, very instructional and funny too! Thanks for making my day better.
Please explain why the sugar?
That doesn't look like cod fillets to me it looks like Pollock or haddock
Why do Americans always add so much salt and often also sugar? Seafood is already salty and a sugary coating might make it more crispy, but gives a conflicting sweet taste.
Wow she burned those
Where do you get your patients from? To keep going over these recipes until you get them the way you like them. I would go crazy LOL. Every single one of your recipes I have tried have been amazing.
Not wanting to be disrespectful, but the fries look bland, and the fish batter as dry as a bone!! If you can't tell the difference between that and proper fish and chips, then you must have been eating them in the wrong place!!
I am not a person raised on fresh fish. I do, however, love fish and chips at restaurants. I need to know what kind, variety, brand, etc of fish to purchase. Any one have recommendations?
What kind of fish is that please!
Yummy!
Adding a thin coating of corn starch helps making the fries crispy. This fish recipe looks wonderful. Will give it a try soon. 😊 🙏
Where did you find a sprayer for the cooking oil?
I can’t wait to try this ♥️ Thank you again for sharing!
Fish and chips are wonderful
Hi, which oil spray do you use?
Oh yeah, this is just what I want…Thank you Girlfriend.
So many distractions, so many projects finished, and/ or boosted. So, yes, finally watched; very good to know.
How wonderful! Thank you so much. Your recipe sounds great. I will definitely try the beer and of all things sugar. I don't know how you came up with that one. Just love your videos. I have made items I have never made before. Here at 61 and have never pressure cooked or dehydrated. This is actually fun.
I've got to say that I am not a fan of fish, BUT my family more than make up for my dislike. My Hubby could eat fish everyday! I do have to say they do look AMAZING! I want to know your thoughts on doing this same technique with shrimp. I thought I would make these for the fish lovers and make some shrimp for me. I wonder if the shrimp would be too delicate and would they cook the same time and temp or maybe even chicken. Thank You for such AWESOME recipes!
i have soaked and rinsed my homade cut fries anywhere from thirty minutes to one to 2 hrs .and to me the af cook time makes no difference .and they dont fall apart. But thats my opinion,But soaked or not that looks delicious. We like af fish and chips sometimes.Im fish pickie though.Dont like real fishie fish lol.
Could white wine be used as the liquid? Also a tip about not wanting to get your hands messy, I know a lot of people don't like the feel of it. Sometimes I wear disposable (cheap) rubber gloves and that way you change the "messy" glove half way through as well. I use one hand for dry and one hand for wet. I am definitely going to try this recipe as we love fish and chips.
Those are not chips.
wow! That fish looks so good!! I will definitely try this one!
Where can I find your recipe for the homemade tarter sauce ? This looks amazing!!

I toss my drained soaked fries into the basket while it preheats for 5 minutes. Then I toss them into a bowl with some peanut oil. salt and turmeric. Then back into the air fryer. They taste just like 5 guys to me and my husband. I love the tip about freezing the fish. I can't wait to try it.
Thank you so much!! I was thinking today of cooking this exact meal! Thank you for showing us how! Can't wait to try!!

This question isn’t related to this recipe, but I am no longer on Facebook and I wanted to ask you a question. I wonder if you have entertained the thought of trying to do something like a pork vindaloo in the foodie?
For fried chicken I put my battered and breaded pieces on a cooling rack over a sheet pan to rest. Will this work with the fish, so breading the filets can keep moving along?
So I think you touched on this a little but if I were to use my ninja foodi grill I would still do it the same way , right? Just curious why you choose the ninja foodi
