Another excellent recipe! BTW, I have an off-the-wall question. How do you get your iodine? Is there a supplement you recommend? I don't see myself eating seaweed or anything like that. I'm finally over putting salt on and in my food and now I realize I haven't had iodine for 4 months and I'm worried. Sorry to bother and I love the channel!
Just put the bread in the oven!!
I did t have chia seed while only the powder:(. I put about 1/8 cup Hope this was not too much?
I am wondering if I have been over blending the bread π§ mine have been so so heavy. Thank you for adding this tip
3 years ago I started on my Plant Based journey and you were one of my mentors. I just purchased your cookbook. I am so excited for you. Many blessings to you for helping us.
2 of my favorites combined into one loaf of bread!!!
Looks delicious. I hope it'll work with 100% buckwheat. I'm highly intolerant to quinoa.
Sad that there is oats in it. I canβt have oats and other grains that have gluten in them…
Hi Jill!! What do you think for a substitute for olives or can I omit them? Maybe instead of olives I could use jalapenos?!!!
I'm going to try this with rosemary and olives. I make cream cheez by bringing unsweetened soy milk to a boil and then turning it off and adding one half cup of lemon juice, let it coagulate for 20 minutes and then strain it thru cheesecloth and the let it set in the cheesecloth for 8 hours. I do not put it into a tofu press so it turns out like actual cream cheese.
looks so yummy! Thank you! Dawn @ Rich & Dawn in MN π
Miss Jill,
Can we bake in the bread machine instead of the hot oven on sweltering & humid days? ThanX ! π
Wow that really looks amazing, looking forward to making it
What a wonderful recipe π. Iβve never cooked bread before but Iβd really love to try this. Thank you ππ»
I'm so making this, looks delicious π€€

I pour boiling water over my sun dried tomatoes to remove excess oil before making my breads or salads…works great
Hey Jill – To clarify, is the recipe using whole psyllium husks or the powder version? I have both in my pantry. I too love sun-dried tomatoes and olives so this bread is perfect for me!
I smacked my lips watching you eat : )
I think my buckwheat was Kasha, a brown colored buckwheat. Did I use the wrong thing? The bread was very dense, very moist and heavy. Tasted great. I will try mixing it less to see what happens.
could you make this same bread but sweet with say cherries or dried apricots or dried cranberries and nuts?
Hi Jill, This looks delicious. Thanks for posting this recipe. Can't eat quinoa and oats or gluten, but buckwheat is fine. Can I use 3/4 + 3/4 cups of buckwheat groats to replace the oats. As well, and suggestions for substituting the 2 1/4 cups of rolled oats? More buckwheat or another whole grain? The rest of the ingredients are perfect. Thanks again, Jill.
Hi Jill, I got your book a few days ago and it's amazing!!!! The bread is really wonderful, both satisfying and filling,. I can't wait to try this recipe too!!
