My mom made cat head biscuits. They where called that because they were as big as a tom cats head.๐ They were so soft. God gave her beautiful biscuit making hands. When she worked as a breakfast cook people would line up for her biscuits. Plain (drowning in butterโบ), with sausage or tomato gravy. I guess it's a good thing that I could never accomplish her perfection. If I had I would be as big as a house!

I have successfully made my own chicken flour. It was easy. I sliced chicken breast as thin as possible the put them on a rack and baked them in the over on low heat (about 180*) until they felt light and then set them out to cool and dry a little bit more. Then put them in a food processor. I made some rolls last night, but they didn't turn out well. I am making "breakfast" for dinner tonight and going to try to use it to make pancakes or chaffles.
If you have something that is little drops that taste like cornbread it's a chemical concoction that is most likely a man made, laboratory carcinogen that should NEVER be consumed by humans.
This is so fun, trying a different kind of cooking that I never thought of before. Whoever said carnivore is too restrictive just has no imagination, lol. Thankfully you do. ๐

Corn flavor is optional; 99% of the time gravy is over regular biscuits. Even better is some chicken fried steak with the gravy over top and more biscuits on the side ๐

Every two months or so I make gravy with breakfast sausage. In the US it is generally seasoned with salt, pepper, ground dried fennel and ground dried sage. Then I serve it over a hamburger patty or over scrambled eggs served in a bowl. It's a nice dish to alleviate food boredom. Adding cream cheese to the gravy provides a velvety smooth texture and rich taste.

Our family has biscuits and gravy every Christmas morning. Of course they are flour biscuits and nice and fluffy. We split open the biscuits and spoon the gravy on top…Delicious and not at all low carb. LOL!

Bacon grease gravy
I reduce heavy cream with cooked, crumbled sausage in it. Works very well! Plus ive used chicken keto chow, its tasty as well
