CrockPot is a Brand Name. The Line of CrockPot cookers includes Grandmas Ceramic Inner vessel style, and has seen many iterations/innovations. I have a Crockpot which has a Two Column Control; the left side is “ Traditional,” while the right column is “Pressure.” So
Hi, please tell me what size pot is that.
You put it on venting when SLOW cooking like slow cooker crockpot not pressure. Read manual it tells you to vent while slow cooking otherwise you are pressure cooking.
Too much talk, not enough action.
The first half of this video is useless talking.
Has anyone tried to make Cholent in an instant pot? Does it work?
I use my pressure cooker every single day. I love cooking with it.>>>ur2.pl/1035 I want to get a second one just the cook additional dishes on the side. Sometimes, when I put the lid on, it seems as if it is locked, but it isn't. I will have to readjust the lid which can slow down my cooking time. I'm pleased overall. I like the look of it. I enjoy the ease of cooking with it. Excellent item.
Euw! Wondering why you like ingredients in plastic?
How long from begin to end on say 3 lbs roast … depressurizing and all …. is the meat the same tenderness as a 8 hr slow cooker ?

So, you opened two packages of frozen vegetables and it took an hour to cook?
I bought a slow cooker recently and really regret it actually. I wanted to cook whilst I am away at work but it's the constant worrying about it which is bad cause you don't know if you overcooked or undercooked by the time you get home. If it's undercooked no problem but very frustrating if it's overdone after 8 hours shift. Pressure cookers are the best they get done quickly and healthy as well.
The recipe you have here with the Collard Greens?
I have a tip For new users of the CPPCooker- The wobbly valve stem on top goes to the left or right or pressurex or no pressure, it will seem like it should click into place when turning left or right, but it does not, but it does do something, watch it as you turn from left to right it will rise in one direction and barely fall in the other – I thought it was a broken part – but it does work…and it can be removed when cleaning, just pull it off, but do not lose it ! – I did 6 Frozen boneless chicken breasts in 15 mins, tender, shreddable breasts – incredible speed – and delicious have fun ! and thank you for posting this video, I will be watching for more!
Sorry but… WRONG ! @1:30 you say that because it is a pressure cooker, it cooks at a lower temperature than not pressurized slow cookers. This is bluntly wrong : temperature rises with pressure so, prestos generate a higher temperature than a simple cooking pot with a lid on top.
You can't compare it to a slow cooker when using it as a pressure cooker. Try a roast, for example: Cooked under high pressure it will be nowhere near as tender as cooking with a crock pot.
I've owned my Duo for a couple of years. I've been pc'ing for 30+ years. You know what? I gave away two of my slow cookers and I use the slow cooker function as much as the pressure cooker option. What I really love mine for is beans and grains, but that's what I started pc'ing in college for anyway.
