YOU are my number 1 for all things cooking. Thank you for all the times you have answered my questions. I hope that you and yours have a love filled Thanksgiving.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving! We don't celebrate that here, but that won't stop me, from trying at least one of your wonderful recipes 😋
Growing up (I am now 66), for Christmas Day, my mother would roast a huge turkey overnight, low and slow. The day before, we would wrap chipolatas in bacon on wooden toothpicks (now called pigs in blankets I believe). Then we would peel pounds of potatoes, skin brussels and make a slit in the end and peel carrots. She would make bread sauce and gravy, we would have cranberry sauce. The potatoes were roasted ( we had to use our oven and my grandad's oven next door). The year before, my mum would make Christmas pudding, using a little bit of the one from the year before that, and hide a silver sixpence in it. The pudding would mature for a year and then be served with brandy butter sauce (no one ever got sick!). 13 people would gather round the table and eat the best food in the world! Now I make the same dinner for my family of kids and grandkids and we are 11 that gather round to enjoy a family celebration on Christmas Day. I wouldn't miss it for the World!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too! Thanks for all of your wonderful and informative videos. And I hope you find a flat baking lid for your food processor- I think you will like it. Xo

Thank you! Turkey thighs look delicious. It seems to be enough for a family of two adults and one kid.
Somehow I think families would turn into violent mobs if they were presented with kohlrabi latkes.
