In this easy cooking video, I cook some beef and rice in my Instant Pot Ultra 60 pressure cooker. The ingredients I used in this easy recipe are 1 lb of beef stew meat, 2 cups of rice, 2 cups of water, and about 2 cups of frozen mixed vegetables. I seasoned it with salt and Johnny’s Seasoned Pepper. https://amzn.to/2ywz1Xf Then cooked it on the Rice setting and let the pressure release naturally on it’s own.

Made this today was a little dry
You dont rinse the rice before cooking? In my part of the World, we rinse first.
Can this be done the same way with ground Turkey?
Can you double this recipe no problem?
Try 2 step 1st cook the meat then 2nd step add rice with required water… ๐๐๐
What instant pot settings did you use to cook this meal?
Thank you so much! Made my first dish in my new instant pot thanks to you. You got a new subscriber. ๐
I made this today. It came out extremely well! I used a different pepper spice mix and added a little bit of garlic powder. Adding this to my go to recipes!!!

Using my Instant Pot tonight for the first time and I'm starting with your recipe, TosTinMan! I used 2 pounds of beef chuck shoulder steak select that was on sale along with fresh mushrooms and onions instead of frozen veggies. Seasoned with sea salt, freshly ground pepper and garlic powder. The beef was amazing but I thought the rice was a bit mushy. It helped when I tossed it with a fork. My husband LOVED it and that's mostly what matters to me. Next time, I'll make make one cup of rice/water instead of two. Thank you, TTM!!!
I'm confused. @4:05 you say the meat cooked for almost an hour but you only cooked it 12 minutes. Can you elaborate?
Love all your videos. So happy that you continued to make videos. Love your little side kick.
Looks delish and you make it look soooo easy! Finally took my instant pot out of its box after two years of intimidation by appliance. LOL… watching you and others on YouTube cooking some fine eats in it, figured time to give it a try. Thanks to your tips and lessons, have made some chicken and zucchini with rice, and some beef and rice. Thanks for the inspiration.
