Having that much garlic would be a dream come true!
love this, I love garlic. I want to see you braid the garlic too please 🤩
Loads of excellent information thank you. I grew elephant garlic this year and I preferred it to the other garlic I grew
I hope my garden are growing up soon
Last year I grew 275 garlic bulbs and only had two left to pick! The gophers ate the rest! For 7 years they didn't touch one. Lost some great types of garlic. I haven't had to buy garlic in over 10 years and wow is the price higher then ever. This year garlic is in a raised bed with wire at the bottom. Not fond of that but at least I will get a harvest! Great job young lady! We live in Leavenworth, Wa. We call it critter town. We have moles, gophers, voles, raccoons, skunks which eat our fruit along with momma bear and twins! Never have I had such a challenge gardening! Great job with your garlic! You are doing a great job!
The baby garlics that grow out of the stalk are garlic seeds.
I harvested the green leaves and scissor cut them into two inch pieces for stirfry. Dehydrating is easy!
I haven't heard you mention it yet so I'm hoping everything in your garden survived that heat dome. Supposedly another one coming up soon.?? Yikes.
Awesome harvest. Try peeling and putting some in vinegar. Super handy for quick use on a long day!
In Australia in my hot State not many veggies like to grow or herbs. In my small garden I plant flowers and now organising my garden for roses . When I watch some channels and see amazing crops people harvesting like you I am jealous =)
Plz tell me which state u live in
Corms..look them up..soak then plant next fall..harvest as usual, plant again then they'll be a developed bulb
Wow! 576!! What a fun harvest!
Old Alabama Gardner on you tube talks about those little garlic nibs. He's very knowledgeable. Nancy from nebraska
You can eat the leaves also 🙂 why don’t ppl use the leaves? For rabbits or salads?
I tried to ferment garlic – definitely was a fail – hope you have better luck than me – lol
We love garlic at our house! Thanks for sharing!
wow what an amazing first garlic harvest, my neighbour gave us enough from his garden to braid the other day, I made a real mess of it, will be interested to see your video…
Becky you have an awesome harvest going on there!! Great job lady👏🏼♥️ listen you definitely do have a spot to dry your garlic..where you have it on the ground, look up!! Put an eye hook on the wall and sting some twine all the way along that wall to the corner and make clusters of garlic and hang it up!! Then you’ll have your walking area freed up too!😀😀 just a suggestion!! Loving your energy and enthusiasm Becky !! Big hugs from me to you 🇨🇦🌻♥️
I grew garlic for the first time. Wasn’t enough to last us long but I plan on planting more this fall. I’m unorganized with labeling too so it’s my goal moving forward.
I’ve ordered seed garlic for elephant garlic and I’m excited to try it. I live in South Carolina so I’m going to try to grow mostly soft neck
Fantastic garlic harvest! I would not recommend freezing garlic. It really lose the garlic flavor. After curing remember to save your largest garlic heads to plant this fall. The larger the clove you plant the larger the garlic head will grow. I just love your enthusiasm and happy gardening!
No vampires near your farm. 😄 All the varieties look real good. Some is early but a great harvest for your first year! 🧄
Wow, Becky! Super impressive!
Those are your seeds
When do you plant garlic
Very nice! I enjoy your garden
I want to grow garlic not sure how to find the pods
Really enjoyable video to watch. Thanks for sharing
You need to make garlic scape pesto with the hardneck garlic stems.
Great job! I grew 275 heads of garlic. Harvest is usually 1st wk of August. This year, scapes and heads of garlic were a month early. Regardless, the harvest is always so much fun because you really never know how big each head of garlic will be. Enjoy your bounty!!
Wow great harvest
