Your son is adorable and I appreciate the time you took to add the recipes to the description. I will argue one point with you though… Sure, you assembled the meals in 1 hour, but add in the time it took to pick the recipes, shop for or gather from the pantry, write out the bags (making notes for what needs to be added day of cooking), prep the ground meat and potatoes, and then organizing it so you can assemble each quickly… then have to clean up the trash, put away the spices and sauce ingredients, wash the measuring tools or any pots/strainers/pans used… Phew! See, just thinking of all that creates a friction point that makes this whole process seem not attainable. I wish you would tell how long that entire process was! And to me, I'd much rather account for making multiples when I make a loose dinner plan for the week. That way if I have all the ingredients out anyway, I can whip up one meal for that night and 3 more to go in the freezer for later. That seems more doable to me somehow.

You are me oh I forgot the paprika, oh well just eyeball the dijon etc 🤣. This is why I’m not a baker, far too precise for me. Have to say any time I’ve put raw onion in the crockpot it has never cooked so I cook them prior. I grew up on my uncle’s farm and it was always exciting when the pigs (or cows) came from the abbatoir, we were always oh look it’s Daisy’s tail yum! Always taught my son where the food comes from

I love how "real" you are in your videos. It always makes me smile when I see you do the home cook measuring because that what I do. I only use my measuring spoons for baking😅. My son's always ask me how much and I just say "eye ball it." It's always fun hearing your kids in the background, because that's real life!!!😊 Thank you for being you and may you and your family be blessed always🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I started mixing my peanut butter in my single serve ninja. I do one jar at a time but I do two jars and it stays well mixed for about 6 weeks! No more messes and spilling of the peanut oil! Your little boy is so adorable! Blessings!

Helpful tip because I don’t have one of those bag holders either….put your bag inside a large mouth quart mason jar, fold down the top of the bag some, add all ingredients that are small enough, take the bag out of jar and add meat. It works great! Thanks for your videos I enjoy so much!

I enjoyed watching your video as I was prepping for dinner! Good timing! So many wonderful ideas. I will be making the taco soup next week. Hubby was listening and asked if we could add it to the dinner menu. Thank you again! Have a nice weekend 😊

Enjoyed the recipes, can't wait to try them! But… my favorite part was your little one. We have 4 (ages 14-22) so it's been a minute since I've scooped up a little noise maker after a nap. It brought back some sweet snuggle memories.

Good morning. I love your relaxed way of cooking. I cook the same way. Your freezer meals look awesome. I just finished doing a bunch a week or so ago. Have a great day. 🇨🇦🌷

We did the marinating meat method when preparing for our twins! We got so tired of eating freezer meals with our first. We kept a master list and prepped frozen veggies, cooked sides (like mac & cheese or rice) and bags and bags of marinated meat! It was a game changer! Just had to throw the meat in the oven (or BBQ) and warm up the sides. Fresh meals can't be beat!! Ps. I've loved watching all of these videos while on maternity leave!
