Try rotel or fire toasted tomatoes in the place of plain stewed or plain diced. By the way, you can chop whole stewed tomatoes yourself.

Love these ideas – I always freeze as much as I can. I am single but find I cook alot at one time.
I make what I call
Three Can Soup
1/2 can Corn drained
1/2 can Black Beans drained
1 can Vegetarian Soup
Mix together , season to taste , freeze the leftover beans and corn and makes several helpings for one person.

I just wanted to say thank you for your ideas and inspirations. I enjoy all the meals you share with us. I tried the beef stew in the instant pot and found that I did have to add cornstarch to thicken it to my liking. Thank you once again. I don't know if you've ever tried doing a chuck steak in the instant pot but I did and reverse seared it. It came out great. I had some leftover and used it for steak and eggs in the morning.

Crazy question but do you cook it in the bag? Or pour it out then cook?
Maybe writing on the bags w/a marker. letting yourself know what's in the bags, the date you put them in the freezer, & cooking times, could avoid confusion in the future.
