The pineapple casserole is an old recipe. My grandma-in-law made this for us back in the early 1970s and she used crushed pineapple. Try the recipe for Johhny Rivers Smokehouse Greens, they are very good.

Pee-Can is NOT the correct way to say pecan, just because some southerners pronounce it that way (oddly enough the same way they do in England) doesn't mean that is the correct way.
