You forgot the corn chips
why didn't you figure out the cost per ounce with the Walmart items so it really would have be more accurate?
Make your own taco seasoning. I’ve not bought any in years. Place a wooden spoon across your pot of boiling water and it won’t boil over
Priced out at Target in CA. 14.53 BUT that is with real cream cheese, name brand fritos (bc I couldn't find generic online), full pound of ground turkey( which I found fresh ground beef and fresh ground turkey at the same price), 32 oz of pasta, 24 oz of salsa. Would be 1.04 per 12 servings with pasta and salsa leftover and more/better quality meat.Interesting, I don't shop.at Walmart, so I wanted to see how much more it was at Target. Pre-2020 I would shop on the Military base and I think it is probably cheaper than Walmart. I don't think I could eat that "meat" or "cheese", you are brave.
We made this last night with philly cream cheese, Wisconsin cheddar cheese, grass fed ground beef, Tostitos mild salsa and Frito corn chips and it was delish! It was so amazing that we ate the leftovers for lunch and early dinner the next day (today). lol. Thanks for the recipes! I loved this so much!
Thanks for the inspiration. I will certainly be checking out the dollar store on my next trip to town for those chips. Your casserole looks delish.
I got a big bag of Snyder's pretzels sour dough at the Dollar Tree was thrilled. Lol that's what we do throw pasta everywhere. Tip lay a wooden spoon across the pot it won't over boil.
Great video ✌🏼new subscriber
You forgot to add frito chips on the Walmart order
Looks so good!
💖💖💖💖💖Oh my word, my family is going nuts over this.
I made a double batch of this. It should give me enough leftovers to get through this busy weekend. One batch needed to be gluten-free. I shopped at Walmart. I got the taco seasoned ground turkey chub and beef chorizo. I did not get or add any taco seasoning. My cream cheese at my Walmart was quite a bit higher than yours. Even with the higher cost in cream cheese and half of my pasta needing to be Gluten-Free my total cost for a double batch was just over $15.
Vegetables? Fruit? Meow?
You didn’t do the chips
Yum! This would be great with some beans and corn added too! 😋
Technically you could have extra meat as well, if you only use the half pound. Add in a cheap bag of chips, use half of that and you can make nachos too for a lunch. So lots cheaper. And still have some pasta left.
You need to edit this. You did not buy the corn chips at Walmart.
Thank you for the great insight
I don't know why, but it always weirds me out to buy food from the Dollar Tree. I will buy candy and salt, but that's about it for consumables…oh, and sometimes popsicles.
I will be trying this recipe
Planning on doing this tonight, but I'm going to try a chicken breast version!
Keep making these videos. Hard times are coming.
Walmart brand cream cheese is only 80c
Looks delicious
That cream cheez turned into chunkz lol
