If you decide to continue freezer prepping I'd suggest getting those printable labels so you can prepare the instructions for your fav meals and then just stick them on the bags. I found them on Amazon for less than $7 for 3oo labels. I know it's not all that difficult to just write on a bag but I have horrible handwriting so it's a lifesaver for me.

This is when I wish I had more than just the little freezer over my fridge in my apartment. But I’m still bookmarking this because I love to use a crockpot and I just won’t make it a freezer meal I’ll make it a pick one and cook meal,

I do have a tip about the onions I’ve heard if you wear swim goggles it helps.. I’m adding my comment before I finish watching the video and read the comments below so if anybody else suggested this it just means I got suggested twice. 🥽🥽🥽

    Great job Jaime! 🤩
I know you'll be glad to have these in the freezer! 😍
I thought you had one of those vegetable choppers. That would take the sting out of chopping onions. But you can also put the onion in the freezer for a few minutes to reduce the smell and crying.
I don't know if you have potatoes on hand all the time or if you buy them as you need them. But when you're putting up freezer meals, why not start with frozen potatoes? Besides hash browns you can also find diced or chunks of potatoes in the freezer section. In fact, you can do this with any vegetables you want to put in the freezer meals.
But if you have potatoes on hand, try parboiling them. Just boil them for a few minutes and they won't turn colors when you freeze them.
There are a lot of veggies you can get frozen and you might check to see if it's more economical to use frozen instead of fresh. The frozen ones would be cut up already and that would save another step.
When I was making my lunches in bulk I used a lot of frozen veggies. And sometimes I would buy just what I needed for what I was preparing. Sauce or other specific items.
And since you're starting with frozen meat, it doesn't hurt anything to add frozen veggies.
The holders you got to hold on to the storage bags while filling them is a handy gadget! 😘
I don't blame you for getting tired of thinking about dinner. The constant battle to think of something, buy it and put it together gets old. Especially when you have to do it for a family.
I've watched the Six Sisters videos and they make a lot of freezer meals. And they have big families so this is a time saving method for prepping meals. And the sister who makes most of the videos just had another baby so she made a lot of freezer meals so her family could eat while she was out.
So don't be afraid to check the freezer section of the grocery stores and see if there are other things that can help with prepping. A step saved is a big help.
Thanks for sharing another great video! 🥰
