in my travels of the American southwest region I've met a wonderful group of ladies that were four generations of Mexican descendants one being pregnant and they taught me how to make a meal known as Poor Man's dish. the base is tortilla chips enchilada sauce and cheese enchilada sauce goes in a skillet on the stove and once it is warm you slowly mix in tortilla chips till they soften and once you've had it all your chips and they've soaked up all the enchilada sauce then you add the cheese. this is quicker than 15 minutes I like to add black beans taco meat guacamole and yogurt cuz I no longer use sour cream the toppings is up to the individual and every family's recipe differs but the bass May cost you $6, or $7 and quicker than 15 minutes and who doesn't love authentic Mexican food?

I think grilled cheese are my go to for super fast snacks. We do open toast with cheese on top in the toaster oven 2 min including cutting the cheese (whatever I have on hand)

If it's in a small scale, stroganoff is pretty quick. Just simmer chicken with tomato extract, heavy milk and your choice of seasoning. Usually it's eaten with garlic seasoned rice and potato sticks, I usually have the latter sitting in the kitchen from the day before.

I make chicken fettuccine noodles , The roe is easy to make especially after you’ve done it lots of times. You can add whatever cheese you want I usually do Parmesan, American, and cheddar. Noodles only take a couple minutes to cook, and I’ll put the chicken in the oven with whatever spices you want on top. Super easy like 20 minutes tops.💕😋

the idea of someone who isn't starving, like days of no food at least, SHAKING from hunger is crazy to me as someone who's been homeless and now lives in poverty, where I've traded eating most days for paying rent
like even with food I can forget to eat for a couple days
though when I get bought food I binge like it's my last meal, I'm a huge foodie too

Egg and onion soup. Quick and simple, just like the name. I boil enough water for one bowl and add bullion to taste ( about 1tsp paste) when the bullion is mixed I add one egg and let it boil until the yellow is barely firm but still has bounce then serve and top with chopped green onion/ scallion (and sometimes I use red pepper flakes).
