I'll be getting a deep freezer after a solar system. I'd hate to lose my investment depending on the city.
We raise our own vegetables and because of that, we have 3 freezers. Sometimes you just need the extra freezer.

Hello. With the freezer you could get plastic containers I did that and helped my deep freezer be more organized. I put all popsicles ect in one meats in another and so on. I just got tired of everything getting lost and it was to freezer burn to use. Good luck. Canβt wait to see it all done

I think it is great that you discuss and show how you go through and rotate out your meat as well as pantry items. Whether it is low spend or upcoming stock ups It is great that you highlight no waste.

I've gone to making a loaf if bread every nite. just put all the ingredients in the bread machine and ya got fresh bread every morning..LOL

I am buying shopping bags at Dollar Tree and using these to organize my deep freezer. Saw this on See Mindy Mom and I'm loving it. I organize everything by bag and it's easy to pull it out and rotate old and new and it's stackable. Now I can see what I have and what I need to restock on. Plus it's cheap and I can get more stuff in the freezer.

I made that cake ( but the pineapple yellow cake version) for a Church potluck. When asked what kind of cake it was, I stumbled/mumbled over the words, and my Pastor's wife says, we just call it "Better than Anything Cake." π Perfect!!

Timely topic! I just did my freezer and pantry inventories. So Stop me before I shop again! Lol. Have you considered using freezer baskets? I'm guessing I can't cram in quite as much volume, but they help me keep like items together. I bought extra on Amazon and am glad I did.
