Wonderful video ❤
Prenatal vitamins are likely what gave you those strong nails, not sure exactly which vitamin or mineral it is, but it really is your solution. give it 6 months you will know by then.
So what do u do for water at home now? The filters are expensive.
Wow the tissues were a shock. As someone with severe allergies who has a tissue box in every room in the house (even in the kitchen!), it's hard to imagine a reality where someone wouldn't need them 😂 I love how we each adapt these lists to our own needs and lifestyles!
I only buy cans with pop top lids so I don’t have to own a can opener at all. Tomato paste comes in a metal tube.
If you dry off your razor blade after use, they can last a really long time. I have a 3 blade razor my son accidentally left at my house after a visit 3 years ago. I'm still using it on my legs with the same blade in it. 😅
Writing letters by hand is one of the great pleasures of life!
Oh good, I’m so glad you’re drinking your coffee while filming, because I’m sitting on my deck, watching your video, and doing the same☕️ Can’t believe some of negativity out there😱I appreciate all the work and thought you put into your videos. It’s a big JOB to put even a small, intelligent YouTube video together. I think you need to know how much these videos help me stay focused and moving forward. Thank you🥰
I love keeping my hair soft and touchable too, but living in FL it's easily damaged. I switched to coconut oil instead of conditioner and argon oil instead of styling products. Between that and protective styles it completely changed my hair! Figured I'd share Incase someone else can use it. 🫶🏻
About tissues.. I bought 10 cotton tissues years ago and use them every day. My nose is fine )))
Do we really need it? That's such a great question. This takes character take a bow!
(Take a look at scripture, there's a mine of info. You'd be surprised!)
We are so consumed by consumerism – me too! It's not easy to recognise, you can do better without many many things! 😀 Great video btw!
Aren't these pictures frames in your background? I own two picture frames, one i had for years the other one I bought recently and I'm on the fence with getting rid of it again. I like bare walls. Do you also have your walls bare or what do you use for decorating if not art in frames? Thanks ❤
I just realized that my thoughts on these types of videos have changed!
When I started watching these 50 things videos three years ago, I felt like it wasn't much, but now I had the feeling "isn't she up to 50 things soon?" when you pass 30 things 😂😅
I would like to know what you do with your photos? Do you only have it digital? I love to do photobooks, especialy for my kid. How do you manage that?
I don’t buy conditioner, body lotion, make up wipes, cotton pads, tampons, or maxi pads, and I don’t buy coffee, lattes or teas out. I make from home and take with me.
😊 or hair dye
😅0990😅😅😅😊😊😅😊😅😮
What’s your skincare haircare and makeup routine
am noticing something about you Mia – you seem much more relaxed and C'EST LA VIE 💯
There are so many things that I agree with you about. And most things I don’t want unless someone buys it for me. 😂I make due with the things that I have. 👍🏻
What I most appreciate about your list is that you know who you are, what you like, what you'll follow through with and you're good with that. So many times we buy and do things because others are. That's why I love minimalism. A big part of it is knowing who you are and getting rid of what isn't the real you, right now, today.
I’m with you on 41 of the things you said. I would add paper towels, paper plates and forks etc. And we bought a bidet so we don’t buy toilet paper very often.
My nails were stronger while I was pregnant and someone told me it was because of the Prenatal vitamins I was taking. Not sure if that was true or not but I guess it makes sense.
I have a few cookbooks but I only use one of them. It’s one put together by a church I used to attend back in the early 90s. And I have one cookie recipe book from the 70s I think someone gave me years ago. I use it at Christmas. I have a couple of other holiday books and I made the decision if I don’t use them any this Christmas season I’m going to let them go. I don’t need them.
I just discovered reusable makeup remover pads like last week and i immediately picked them up!!! Im glad it was a good investment cause i wasnt too sure!
It was only 49? lol
we have too many gadgets. Can you make a video on multi usage items/ tools/ equipment / any object that have multiple functions to reduce the amount of gadgets in our home❤❤
I have a tablet that is so old I can't even update a lot of apps, (or even the operating system, I don't think) anymore. Some apps aren't even compatible anymore so I deleted them. I mostly use it for ebooks at this point and will probably replace it for that reason, but the Libby app still works so I'm not doing it yet.
I agree with you on hair stuff. My hairdresser doesn't even ask if I want hairspray anymore because I always say no. Whatever she does use before blow drying it I almost always wash out before I go to bed because I hate the way it feels by the end of the day.
Your eyebrows could use a little nicer shape, they seem really thin, but I kind of get it is a hassle to pay to get them done. I am working on my brows too.
Id like to hear more about the pillows you found and love..
I’m so glad I’m not the only one that hates lotion

16:31 I like your storage system for your Caraway pans and lids alot! Do you by any chance remember the name or where to buy these two storage systems?
Prenatal will help your nails and biotin.
I admire your courage for voicing your likes and dislikes that sometimes go against what is considered the “norm.” You go girl!.
I'd like to hear deeper reasoning into why we don't buy certain things any more. Some of it is just conditioning. It's likely that you didn't make a strategic or philosophical choice to no longer buy physical media. But like 99% of other consumers, we find ourselves just conveniently taking the constant offers of streaming. I don't think we should surrender previous or traditional means of doing things, simply because they aren't 'new'. Sometimes the convenient new item or service comes with a significant loss in quality, reliability, or more importantly- freedom/privacy. "Free" apps are a great example of this.
It's understandable why most people wouldn't shop for new physical media- but think twice about releasing what you already own. There is more freedom and lasting value there than you may think.
Wow! I have stopped buying or using all 50 of those things in the past decade or two. They are all such a waste of money (in my mind). I don't know if you mentioned it or not, but I don't subscribe to hard-copy magazines or newspapers either. I don't buy lottery tickets, except occasionally for charity. Instead of buying new, I try to follow the three Rs – reuse, repurpose, and recycle. Makes me feel good!
Btw… love your channel✨❤️ from 🇨🇦
the only thing is…. my old wrists can't handle an old fashioned can opener – not enough strength : (
Thank you.
Hey love your videos. Suggestion about the weak nails, I used to have them too and started taking 'Mykind Organic Plant Collagen Builder'. My nails, hair and skin have never looked better!
Really enjoyed this video. I have also been in the market for new pans because my experience with my Teflon pans has not been great either. I have been leaning toward caraway pans also..and I think you've just sold me! Thanks!!
Prenatal vitamins might be why your nails were strong during pregnancy. Keep taking them and see if your nails improve again.
A long list, but I think the same about most things. There were only about 7 items that I do buy and use on this list.
Hey love ur videos all the way from kenya
