I’ve made a very similar chicken pot pie crockpot recipe and it is so good!! I bake the biscuits separately and ad a diced onion, mor corn, and some additional spices. Yummy and comforting!

Thanks for the recipes. Another TouTuber said crockpots are used mostly in fall & winter but I disagree. I use my crockpot more in summer to not heat up my kitchen from the oven.

For the price you’re paying for this meat, is well over what you’re saving on electricity. My best advice is to buy your meat and Pressure Can it right now while you can still purchase it. It will last MUCH LONGER , and it will NOT need to be refrigerated. Many videos on how to on YouTube. Good luck.

I loveeee your crockpot meals Abby! I have a gas stove too and it really warms up the kitchen and we just have a window A/C unit 😬. I’m going to try those smothered pork chops 😋. Pork has been a little cheaper in my area, so that will be a budget friendly meal for me too 💵.
